Caroline has been participating in a number of on-line conventions mostly Anime based. On a number of panels, she has been dressing up as one of the characters from the Anime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has been either making or thrifting most of her costume pieces and re-styling wigs for the various characters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She came to me with this photo and asked, \u201cHow complicated is the jacket?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(For the VI:  This is a young man in a military uniform. The coat is blue with gold buttons and green accents.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHow long do you have?\u201d I asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAbout a week.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLet me do it\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I sat down and did a breakdown of the coat.  I had a pattern for a civil war coat that I could start with, but I had to draft half the coat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is how it turned out. I am going to make the belt and the pants down the road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
