Eventually the snow stopped, and we got out to clear our steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is where good neighbors are worth their weight in gold. One neighbor took his snow blower and got the driveway clear. Another neighbor took care of the rest of the walk after I had gotten about half way down the walk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The issue was that the bottom of this mess was solid ice which made it very heavy and you had to break it up into pieces and be very careful to not throw your back out or break your shovel due to the weight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the plus side, I know that all the walking and exercising I have been doing paid off so I could get my steps clear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Today I have a punch list of things I want to do and things I need to do. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tomorrow and until Christmas, I have work. I do have Boxing Day off. Then we are into the post Christmas and pre New Years sales. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
