255 days ago, New York went into a shut down the likes of which we have never seen and hope never to see again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That has made this holiday, for many, rather different.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My mother is making meals to go for my family in Atlanta so they can enjoy her cooking in safe conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are not going up to Connecticut to celebrate with Beth, Randi, and the girls like we have done in the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have friends who are doing food exchange with family members so everyone gets that dish that Auntie makes that no one else can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was hard to find a smaller turkey which makes sense since many people are not doing those large gathering, so they are looking for smaller turkeys. I did find mine at the weight I wanted and without much added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I got the sides we all like and I am trying my hand at making gravy because I can control what goes into it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It will be a quiet day for us which will be nice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We plan to watch whatever they are doing for the parade and the Westminster Dog show. Then I have football to watch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We have our health and for that we are truly thankful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
