Does anyone know if the TV series series Waga seishun no Arcadia: Mugen kid\u00f4 SSX<\/i> aka My Youth In Arcadia: Endless Road SSX<\/i> or Arcadia of My Youth: Infinite Orbit SSX <\/i> is available in the US or was available in the US subtitled preferred? I just figured out that it is just about the only piece of Captain Harlock I don’t have on DVD but only on VHS tape with no subtitles. Yea, my anime is showing right now. I have been working on a project and had to do some research into a couple of shows I love(d) including Captain Harlock\/Herlock (why did the spelling change?).<\/p>\n
League of Ordinary Gentlemen<\/i> is out on DVD. It is a great documentary about professional bowling which is much more interesting then one would think. This is about the people that you can see bowling in the Pro\/Am tournaments around the country. There is even footage of Ðìçk and Peter Weber before Ðìçk died. If you have any interest in either bowling or athletics this a fine film.<\/p>\n
MirrorMask<\/i> is out. Yea, I said it before but I want to keep it out there. It is like one of Dave and Neil’s graphic novels came to life or at least film. The visuals are stunning and the story is well written but I would not expect any less from those two. Don’t let this one slip by you.<\/p>\n
We got our super-duper deluxe edition of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire<\/I>. I haven’t had time to poke through all the extras but there are a lot them. It took me a while to find where it said on the box that it was the widescreen edition rather than the full screen edition.<\/p>\n
The Doctor Who<\/i> DVD has been delayed until July and then I strongly suggest that all proud Whovians buy a copy to convince the PTB to continue to give us the good Doctor. Also watch it on SciFi and send them a letter (real not e-mail) thanking them if you like what you see. I’m betting you will. I don’t think I have met a Whovian who has not liked the show.<\/p>\n
Most of the movies nominated for Oscars seem to be coming out next week to DVD. Ariel’s theory is that they were waiting to see if they could slap the “Oscar Winner” sticker before they shipped them out. There are a couple that we want to finally see including Good Night and Good Luck<\/i>.<\/p>\n

My heel is now my heels are hurting and I have also injured my wrist somehow so it is hard to hold my bowling ball even with my brace on. I think I know how I banged up my wrist. The heel is a mystery. So walking is an adventure. Once I get going I am OK but the getting going can be painful indeed. Between that and my headache I am a ball of pain. I have taken something for it and am waiting for it to kick in before starting the rest of my day.<\/p>\n
I’m declaring today Laundry Day for the David Household. I am going to try to get through most of it today with possible finishing tomorrow. I can do that and finish up the projects hanging over my head and feel productive. I don’t have to worry about dinner tonight because we are going to Ariel’s Bowling Team Banquet so that is taken care of. Tomorrow night is her spring concert that Gwen is joining us for. Friday is pretty quiet and then Saturday Ariel has a bowling tournament and Sunday we go to her cousin’s birthday party. Next week doesn’t look much quieter either. Oh well, it beats the alternative.<\/p>\n
