Wednesday April 29, 2020 aka Day 45 of the homebound saga<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I love the works of Douglas Adams. Hitchhiker\u2019s Guide to the Galaxy has a lot of meaning in my family. Certain lines and phrases are part of our family language. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The phrase that popped into my head yesterday was \u201cTime is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And that is so true right now. Time has very little meaning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The days breakdown into breakfast, lunch, and dinner or morning then evening. I honestly have stopped looking at the clock as it really doesn\u2019t tell me anything I need to know. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is how my day breaks down right now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I get up and go downstairs to the cat chorus of \u2018where is my breakfast?\u2019 I feed the cats and make sure that each has a shot at the wet food they get in the morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then I make coffee and put away the dishes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I write in my paper journal and record things I need to keep an eye on. A big one is how I am feeling at that moment in time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This web log is next on the list of things to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After that is whatever I have on my list for the day and whatever pops up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At some point after lunch, Caroline and I go on a walk. I look forward to this because we get out of the house and we have been able get to know each other better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
About 6 I start dinner then we settle in to watching some form of entertainment until bedtime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rinse and repeat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That, with a few exceptions, has been my life in a nutshell for the last month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have been able to make things like masks for people. I have a plan for the UFOs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Today I am taking a day off and trying to get my back in order. So heating pad and anti-inflammatories are my friends today per my Doctor\u2019s orders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
