We have a number of projects we want to do and now have the time to do them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Y is open but limiting things a lot. I wear gloves when I lift weights and we have a wipe the equipment down policy that has always been enforced. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now we figure out the new norm for us for the foreseeable future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And that is a little be scary because it is not like anything we have lived through so far. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am glad I have mental health help to get me through this with minimal panic. I just have to get out of my head and stop worrying about things I have no control over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I think to help I am going to give myself some structure to my day. Caroline and I have agreed a schedule for the gym and driving lessons. There are the daily tasks like dishes and then the weekly tasks. I also have a list of projects I want to do that now I have the time to do them because there is no pressure to be anywhere. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am checking my temperature every morning because I am currently the one who goes out of the house. So far I have been my bit on the low side body temp. I am really hoping to stay there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Caroline is feeling better having recovered from her bout of laryngitis but I can tell her allergies are starting to act up as the flowers start to bloom. She is not getting a break this year from the sniffy nose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Peter is feeling fine. He is only leaving the house when absolutely necessary because he is in the demographic that the virus is really bad for. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I feel like we are waiting for another shoe to drop. I have no idea what that is but right now it is hard to get milk, eggs, meat, and bread at the store. I think by next Friday the panic shopping will calm down a bit. OK maybe I am being a bit hopeful about that. When it takes me four grocery stores for a box of saltines and I can only find the off brand, that tell me something.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So today is a regrouping day to figure out the new norm. Then we continue to live the best we can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
