It is a brain fog morning. I woke up with a pounding headache and am trying to get that down to a dull roar so I can function this morning.<\/p>\n
Early I couldn’t get to my main account mail or the website it is attached to. I called my parents and they could get on to the website I was trying to get to load but another friend in NJ wasn’t able to get onto his account either so I am thinking it is a North East problem rather than the whole network. It sorted itself out about 20 minutes ago.<\/p>\n
Not as much done yesterday as I would like but I think that has almost become a chant for me. The last day I feel I managed to get enough done that I had really accomplished something significant was probably about 2 weeks ago. Today if I can get my head to clear I think I will be able to get a chunk done on one of two projects.<\/p>\n
There was a debate on one of the many art groups I am about what is a tribute to another’s work and what is a swipe. This lead to a sub-discussion about people who recreate movie and TV props and costumes to sell. It is a lively conversation with people on all sides of the issue. I am sort of the middle of the road on this one seeing all sides of the issue. I think that some of the examples that have been presented are very much in violation of any copyright laws I know of but others are harder to judge. Especially with the use of collage more and more in art. If you do an aquatic piece with a bunch of frogs and include a small Kermit are you violating copyright? It is an issue that there are no easy answers to.<\/p>\n
