It was pretty even handed in the awards. I think the biggest surprise was Olivia Coleman winning Best Actress. The buzz was that Glenn Close had finally gone from bridesmaid (seven times now) to bride but it was not to be. Black Panther was awarded for its world building and score. Gaga won for song. Bohemian Rhapsody got all the sound awards and Rami Malek deserved his win for channeling Freddy. Green Book won best picture even though it is a rather hot button issue film. It is not a perfect film but it was a fine film even with controversy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I still don\u2019t know why \u201cWon\u2019t you be my neighbor\u201d and \u201cThree Identical Strangers\u201d were not nominated for documentary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Caroline is back at school after a week off. And with that we go back to our schedule for a week such as it is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Next week Peter is off on an adventure that I will talk about after the fact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It doesn\u2019t look like we are going to have our February snowstorm this year. Makes me a little concerned for March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Puppets are on the table now they need to get off of it. I have to get things moving the direction I need to go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am grateful for pleasant evenings at home.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yes, I know that it is the shortest month on the calendar.
