I have two brothers and one sister that I grew up with. There was no doubt among our friends and our parents\u2019 friends and our teachers that we were related. The running gag in Southern Fandom was that we were cross-gendered clones of each other and my mother\u2019s PhD dissertation (it wasn\u2019t). <\/p>\n
I also have friends that I consider like brothers and sisters to me. There are not a ton of them but those people are very dear to my heart. I know that they have my back in all things as I have theirs. <\/p>\n
Yes, I did fight with my brothers and sister. It was mostly stupid stuff and was resolved pretty promptly. We don\u2019t hold grudges or rather our parents by example showed us how must that was a waste of our time and energy so we learned. <\/p>\n
No, we don\u2019t away agree on all things but we are individuals with our own experiences and lives. I am a little suspicious when someone always agrees with you due to a few incidents in my life with some individuals I have cut out of my life.<\/p>\n
But we do respect each other. We do love each other. We do have each other\u2019s backs and help out as we can. It can be something simple or complex, if we can do it we do.<\/p>\n
We all credit our parents for the people we are today and we do it proudly. They made sure we grew up knowing that they believed in us and what we wanted to do in our lives. They gave us the tools to be the people we are and I hope they take pride in that. They raised some interesting people.<\/p>\n
