Caroline awoke in a snit this morning. She wanted only me to pick her up and then she wanted to wear her orange summer dress. We managed to convince her after much howling and protest that she needed to wear a long sleeve shirt under the dress since it was cold. Then she didn’t want to walk downstairs but have me carry her and her entourage which was difficult but doable. I am hoping that she is not getting sick because this behavior usually precedes her getting very ill. She is usually very well tempered in the morning. Her temperament has improved some but all kinds of little things are setting her off so we are going to scratch going to the movies with her and let her play around the house. She is currently playing with her little people castle and all the horses and dragons. I offered her the people but she just lined them up so they could “watch” her play with the animals. She is being very mommy fixated this morning.<\/p>\n
For all you Froud Fans who haven’t been reading their website, I give you a heads up on a couple of things. There is a new magazine called “Faerie Magazine” which the Frouds are contributing to on a regular basis. There is also a neat visual article on how to make polymer clay heads. Brian has a new book coming out of pages from his sketch books from his early work to his most current stuff. Wendy is working on a book about her dolls and doll making which she talked about in the abstract during the doll class and I am very happy to see that she is going to be doing it. I have the calendars already for next year both the Goblin and the Pressed Fairy versions. It is a good time to be a Froud Fan because there is now all this cool Froud stuff that you can buy.<\/p>\n
