Something happened yesterday that has put a smile on my face for a number of reasons.<\/p>\n

My buddy Martin texted me \u201cDid you give Karen Gillan a puppet? She posted a video of her using the puppet and singing a song.\u201d<\/p>\n

I send back this photo<\/p>\n

(for the visually impared: This is from right to left Caroline, Karen Gillian, and the Nebula puppet. Caroline is wearing a purple top. Karen is wearing a white top. The Nebula is blue with a purple top.)<\/p>\n

I texted \u201cIs this the puppet? if so I need a link.\u201d<\/p>\n

He replied, \u201cThat\u2019s it!\u201d and send me a link to an article from the Radio Times which you can find <a href= http:\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/news\/film\/2018-02-23\/karen-gillan-sang-a-beautiful-song-with-a-puppet-nebula-and-its-exactly-as-odd-as-it-sounds\/<\/a>\u201d> here <\/a><\/p>\n

Just at that point my WiFi decided to drop out again so after some frustration I played the link within the story and much to my delight I saw my puppet being used by Karen to belt out \u201cStormy Weather\u201d. I couldn\u2019t stop grinning. She had a lovely smoky voice made for torch songs.<\/p>\n

I am so happy to find that she really does love her puppet. I gave her the choice of what character she wanted at Shoreleave and got it to her a little over a year later when our paths crossed again at DragonCon.<\/p>\n
