I did not make it to midnight to greet the New Year. I didn\u2019t make it past 10:30 due to being ill.<\/p>\n

That is the first time in a long time that I was not awake at midnight of the New Year.<\/p>\n

This morning the cough is so bad that I can\u2019t keep anything down. Fortunately I didn\u2019t have really anything to eat since lunch and only coffee this morning. Unfortunately I now have nothing in my stomach and down to the dry heaves.<\/p>\n

I think today is going to be more recovery from being sick. If I have the energy, I might get some cleaning done today. Or I might be a couch potato. I am letting my body decide that one.<\/p>\n

I am staying as away as I can from Peter and Caroline. Lots of hand washing to keep germs down to a minimum.<\/p>\n

I made a list of things I would like to get done this year. Not resolutions but more a to do list to be added to and subtracted from as the year goes on. My resolution is a repeat of what I try to do every year. Be Kind. Be Polite. Help where one can. I figure by doing that I am trying to make the world just a little bit better.<\/p>\n

Right now on the top of the list is breath without coughing. I would like to have that down sooner than later.<\/p>\n

I am not a good sick person.<\/p>\n

I wish you all a happy and healthy 2018. May the year bring you want you need.<\/p>\n
