I have wanted to tackle the kitchen counters for a couple of years. This weekend provided me with both the opportunity and the time. Caroline sat at the kitchen table and colored while I worked my way around the room and gave it a good cleaning. I now have a place to put some of my craft supplies so they are safe from little ones fingers. Overall I gained counter space. I am feeling good about my kitchen now. There is still work to be done in there but at least I tackled one of the big projects. So the master bedroom and the kitchen are in good shape.<\/p>\n
Next on the list are the living room and the dining room. The living room is in flux right now. When I clean a room it becomes messy as I pull everything out of the corners so it can be put back all together in a proper order. That way I can clean the hairballs out of the corners. Owning cats gives one a whole bunch of fun cleaning situations. Given two more days to really work on it and I’ll get those rooms done. Then there is maintenance of what has been cleaned already. I really want to get the house knocked into shape this week so I am not worried about it next month when we have Caroline’s Birthday Party.<\/p>\n
