This morning I got up and made a mad dash to the grocery story to do my usual Saturday shopping. Apparently with the impending snow, a lot of people decided to do the same. I lucked into a shopping cart and did my rounds to get the stuff we needed for the house. Amazingly the toilet paper aisle was well stocked as was the bread and the milk but the beer aisle was wiped out especially of the craft beers. <\/p>\n
Then Caroline and I went to the gym which had a lot more people in it than the previous week and all the trainers were busy helping people with their new workout programs.<\/p>\n
By the time we came home, the roads were getting very slick since we had some sleet before the snow. <\/p>\n
While putting the cover on the van, I took a hard slide and landed on my coccyx, which I felt all through my back. <\/p>\n
It is windy, slippery, and snowy out there right now and we do not plan to step foot out until we have to since we seem to be getting it right in the teeth.<\/p>\n
I stuck an arm out to get the mail and that took some effort to get the door open due to the amount of snow against the door.<\/p>\n
So we have decided that the X-men will be the movie marathon since we did Lord of the Rings a couple of storms ago and Harry Potter the last storm. <\/p>\n
I foresee board games in our future too.<\/p>\n
