My husband brought me back a Pepe\u2019s pizza from Connecticut, which was wonderful. For those not in the know, Pepe\u2019s pizza, to me, is some of the best pizza on the planet. If it weren\u2019t for Richard Pini, I would not know that it existed. I had a lovely dinner last night.<\/p>\n
I have been thinking about mindfulness recently. Or rather being aware of the now. As I get older I find myself thinking more about the now than the next couple of years. Maybe because I am more set in my ways but I still am learning and exploring.<\/p>\n
Maybe because I have to be aware of what my hands are doing or not going to do. I am very careful on days that the shakes are bad. Typing takes twice as long as errant keystrokes create new words that either don\u2019t exist or get auto-corrected to the wrong word that totally changes the meaning of what I am trying to write. It is a matter of focus.<\/p>\n
Caroline and I are going to put out the graveyard and measure her closet. Cleaning the cat boxes is in there somewhere. <\/p>\n
So I am making today a doing day rather than a thinking day, I think. Not sure yet.<\/p>\n
