In the south there is a weather pattern where it will rain like there is no tomorrow for a short period of time then the skies will clear up and the rain will stop then the clouds move in and it happens all over again. That has been this morning out here on Long Island.<\/p>\n
This is one of those mornings that I am glad I don\u2019t work in the city. Considering all that has happened over the past couple of days, I wish my fellow commuters all the best. They have found pipe bombs and people planning to do more damage but were caught before they could act. I am worried about all my friends and family that live and work in the five boroughs. This isn\u2019t over yet and that\u2019s very scary. Maybe the rain will slow them down.<\/p>\n
I don\u2019t think I am going to be going anywhere today. I need to check the basement after this rain moves out.<\/p>\n
Peter arrived at 7:15 this morning which for him was 4:15 and he had a yappy dog under the seat next to him so he is asleep right now.<\/p>\n
Ren Faire plans for those who are contemplating going. We are going early in the day because it just works out better for us. Probably be there through lunch. I have promised we will not sing Happy Birthday to him.<\/p>\n

So the Jets and the Giants and the Mets won yesterday. The Giants game was a bit of a nail biter. I wasn\u2019t sure of their strategy but a win is a win.<\/p>\n
Man this rain is going on longer than I would have thought. I am worried about flooding now.<\/p>\n
I think I need to do something creative today. Yesterday was about putting away the rest of DragonCon. Today needs to be about creating something new. <\/p>\n
I also need to sort some stuff out as to when we are doing what for the rest of the year. Hard to believe that we are rapidly heading for the end of the year but there it is.<\/p>\n
