We worked it out with Bennigan’s for this weekend at least. The show went off with only a few minor hitches. I focused the lights for the first time. Got it just right to only have a customer bump into a light pole right before the show so I did an emergency focus and got it pretty close. There was only one light that was really off to my eye and it wasn’t by much but then I know where it was suppose to be. I fumble fingered two cues but I know what I did. We also dropped a monologue out of the play but plan to put it back in tonight.<\/p>\n
Caroline was happy to see me this morning. She jumped up and pulled on her diaper and said “Wet!” quite proudly. I changed her and got her various medicines in her with very little fuss. She is now brushing my hair as I type this. She has been carrying around a couple of Care Bears and having them “talk” to each other. Her imagination is boundless.<\/p>\n
I will be glad to get through this evening and have a few days at home while I am feeling better. I might actually get something done especially if the rain ends. This morning it is cloudy but not raining for the first time in a week. It is cooler but still feels pretty humid. There is still a lot of standing water that needs to drain before we are done with this. The ground is so saturated that we have a small leak in the basement under the radiator.<\/p>\n
I have to make another Angel puppet this week. I can finally get out to my studio without drowning and dig up the pattern. then it is onto Halloween and decorating and costumes and all that fun stuff.<\/p>\n
