We got ourselves to our various doctors. We’re all sick. I have a sinus infection that is compressing other parts of my body which is why my ears and teeth hurt. Caroline has bronchitis poor littler dear. They gave her a breathing treatment that she didn’t care for very much. She is now on a couple of things to clear this up. Ariel has an upper respiratory infection and has a regiment to go through to clear it up. Peter came to bed last night with a sore throat so I don’t think he managed to make it free and clear of all the germs in the house. I have been told to rest, drink plenty of fluids and take an antibiotic to clear up the infection.<\/p>\n
I feel like Gollum having seen the new iPod with video. Me wants it. Me wants it Precious. That is too cool. Steve Jobs has done it again. I am sure that eventually it will come down in price and the memory size will go up but it has been a looong time since I wanted an electronic gadget the way I want this one.<\/p>\n
We have more rain and a lot of flooding. Driving around the Island right now is a challenge because of poor drainage and standing water. I had to stick to main roads and some of them had to be avoided to. At least the lawn looks better. Apparently the entire Long Island grape crop is in jeopardy due to the poor timing of the rain which has the vineyard owners very nervous. Until this week they had been predicting some of the best wine in years from this year crops. Now they are hoping to have a crop.<\/p>\n
I can’t believe that it is Thursday already. I have been feeling so poorly that the days have blurred together. Needless to say I haven’t got much done on anything I was going to do. So I am back in a pressure situation to get some stuff done before I start up the show again. Especially if we hold fast to our costume idea for Halloween. I may shelve it this year and go for something simpler but it would be so much fun to do. Arrrggggg. The mind of a costumer can be an insane one.<\/p>\n
