To all the Fathers I know both traditional and non-traditional, I wish you a good day.<\/p>\n

Peter is not here as he is in Denver at a convention working so we are going to Facetime sometime this morning so Caroline can see her dad on Father\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n

I will try to get in touch with my father at some point today but I happen to know that he is rather busy today. So Da, if you are reading this and I didn\u2019t get in touch Happy Father\u2019s Day and I love you very much. <\/p>\n

Caroline knows that her father is different from most of her friends\u2019 dads. <\/p>\n

For one thing she sees more of her father during the day than they probably do. He is there when she goes off to school and is home when she gets back from school. <\/p>\n

His job has taken her some interesting places and allowed her to meet some fascinating people and do some amazing things. She does know how lucky she is. <\/p>\n

This summer she is going to the SDCC for the first time. This is a convention that she has heard about from her parents and her sisters and the media. Now she gets to experience it. I am glad she had a serious growth spurt before the convention because now she stands a better chance of not getting knocked over. She is very excited about this. She knows that the reason she is going is her father and his achievements. <\/p>\n
