So today is Star Wars day. It amazes me how quickly this has become a commercial holiday. I have half a dozen ads from various types of business touting Star Wars. So I think it has become an official holiday like St. Patrick\u2019s Day or Earth Day.<\/p>\n

Yesterday Caroline texted me and asked where I was on her Rey outfit because the theme of the day for Spirit week on Wednesday was Character Day because she really wanted to be Rey.<\/p>\n

Six hours later she had her Rey costume Mark 1.<\/p>\n

Why did I do this? Because yesterday evening she was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society. <\/p>\n

While we were at the school, she showed me the art work she had on display in the front hall.<\/p>\n

\nHer Dragon Etching. She also drew the frame.<\/p>\n

\nAn Abstract 3-D work she did entitled the Wings of Good and Evil. She has a whole backstory to this piece.<\/p>\n

I am in awe of her artistic skill.<\/p>\n
