It is one of the reasons we don\u2019t fall over every time we get up or walk. A lack of balance can be rather annoying.<\/p>\n<p>There is a lot of talk on various websites and books about having balance in one\u2019s life. A balance between work and leisure time. A balance between family and work. A balance within families. Balancing the books. Balancing one\u2019s life.<\/p>\n<p>Makes me feel like I am on a perpetual tightrope without the balance pole to help.<\/p>\n<p>I have discovered over the years finding balance is not easy but it is necessary. <\/p>\n<p>Too much either way and you fall or fail to maintain balance.<\/p>\n<p>So life is a balancing act between what you need to do and what you want to do. Between that which must be done now and that which it would be a good idea to do it sometime soon and that which you will eventually get around to.<\/p>\n<p>It is not an easy task and everyone does fall down at some point. The trick is to get back up on the rope and go again. I know when I am not feeling at my best and I know I have fallen off, it can be hard to get things going back to a center point. But I can recognize that and deal with it.<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday was the first day since I got back home that I felt at all balanced. I am going to take that momentum and move myself forward from task to task keeping my balance going.<\/p>\n<p>I am grateful for things that allow balance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Balance is important.
