This morning for the first time in about two weeks, I took in a breath and didn’t hear/feel a rattle in my chest. I am on the mend. I also made it almost an hour before coughing and I am breathing through my nose rather than my mouth. To top it off, I haven’t had any cough syrup since yesterday evening.

Which means I now have to start catching up on everything that I have let slide since I became ill.

I feel like I am starting the year behind already and we are only a little over two weeks into it. If this is the beginning of the year, can we have a do-over?

I guess I’ll start at point A and work my way through the list.

When did adult stop being a noun? Did I miss a meeting? I have been seeing more the phrase “I was so good at adulting today that I rewarded myself with a bottle of wine.” Adulting?

I have been rereading Dr. Strange with the Essential Doctor Strange very large graphic novels. Whoever put them together did a good job of putting all the pieces together because Doctor Strange’ story was spread through the Marvel comic universe for a while before he got his own book back. It is also interesting seeing the pencil/inkwork in just black and white. I have gaining a greater appreciation for some artists work.

I have also been reading the newest series and it has my attention. Interesting stories and some concepts about the character I hadn’t really thought about. Art work is just as trippy as the classic Ditko work or maybe that’s the cough meds at work.

I am grateful for being able to breath without coughing.

Is a lovely thing.
