Last day of 2015. Hard to believe that the year has gone that fast.<\/p>\n
A lot has happened in that year too.<\/p>\n
On the sad side, my father-in-law Gunter David passed away. I will always appreciate that he accepted me into the family and he loved watching Peter and me together. <\/p>\n
On the happy side, I met a number of people I have admired for various reasons and was able to tell them that very face. I made new friends. I got puppets to various actors who loved them. <\/p>\n
I sold more stories this year than I have any other year. I sold more puppets this year than I have in any other year except one. I learn new crafty skills.<\/p>\n
I learned that I can write and write well enough that others look forward to my writings. I can draw better than I think I can. I am good at figuring out how to make something look like it should given the materials I have at hand.<\/p>\n
On the health side I learned I have a condition called essential tremors and now have ways of dealing with things that come up. My left hand has mostly recovered from the bad spill I had in Philly. Still can\u2019t snap my fingers on that hand without some pain.<\/p>\n
Saw some good theater this year including \u201cSomething Rotten\u201d which is really excellent and I still highly recommend it.<\/p>\n
Did many conventions and made the vow to limit our convention going next year just because we aren\u2019t as young as we use to be.<\/p>\n
This year my friends who have wanted to be married or got married in another country could now get married in this country. I went to the wedding of my best friends Jeff and Angelo which was a happy occasion with a little but of a cloud since Angelo is battling cancer and the prognosis is getting worse every time he goes to the Doctor. <\/p>\n
Fandom decided to deal with its own and now there is a no means no campaign to allow people to be safe to walk about conventions without being harassed.<\/p>\n
There was the usual pettiness in fandom but there was also great kindness and helpfulness. <\/p>\n
Overall it was an improvement over 2014 and I hope 2016 continues the trend.<\/p>\n
