We went to visit Shana at her new (to us) apartment. It is a much nicer and larger place than the one she had before. It was nice getting together with her and catching up on news. She took us to the Fox diner that reminded me of the Majestic in Atlanta. It was very Southern in both the food and the staff. A good time was had by all including Caroline who bonded with Shana\u2019s cat Biscuit.<\/p>\n
We are all saddened by the passing of James (Jimmy) Doohan. Peter helped him with his autobiography a number of years ago. Jimmy was well known on the convention circuit. He was a good guest and the fans loved him a lot. I met him a couple of times and always had fun talking to him about all kinds of subjects. He will be missed. I plan to drink a nice glass of scotch in his memory this evening.<\/p>\n
Today is laundry day and pick up after ourselves since tomorrow we move onto the next leg of our trip.<\/p>\n
