She has brown hair and green eyes. She is wearing a green dress and a green hat with gold fringe)<\/p>\n<p>This was an interesting project to undertake. I was lucky that the original dress and hat went up for auction within the past two years and I got screen shots of the catalogue photos which allowed me to figure out all kinds of things about both the dress and the hat.<\/p>\n<p>The rest of this is under a cut since it is rather picture heavy.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I think I am proudest of the hat since it was a rather complicated piece that I managed to figure out.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/s561.photobucket.com\/user\/Puppetmaker40\/media\/Puppet%20Album\/IMG_3042_zps1b191b57.jpg.html\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i561.photobucket.com\/albums\/ss54\/Puppetmaker40\/Puppet%20Album\/IMG_3042_zps1b191b57.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\" photo IMG_3042_zps1b191b57.jpg\"\/><\/a><br \/>\n(for the VI: A profile view of the puppet. Her hat is green with gold fringe, a chicken foot and black feathers on top)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/s561.photobucket.com\/user\/Puppetmaker40\/media\/Puppet%20Album\/IMG_0510_zps99303506.jpg.html\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i561.photobucket.com\/albums\/ss54\/Puppetmaker40\/Puppet%20Album\/IMG_0510_zps99303506.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\" photo IMG_0510_zps99303506.jpg\"\/><\/a><br \/>\nThe Original Dress<br \/>\n(For the VI: This is the actual costume on a mannequin)<\/p>\n<p>The first thing I noticed was the chicken foot on the hat, which seemed to be attached to the feathers. Yes, I checked. That is there in screen shots of the film. The back of the hat was a square pillow sham with gold braid all around it. Fortunately there was a chinstrap in the original, which made it easier to attach to the puppet. The designer and the seamstress were very clever in how they put this hat together.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/s561.photobucket.com\/user\/Puppetmaker40\/media\/Puppet%20Album\/IMG_3045_zpsa185b85b.jpg.html\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i561.photobucket.com\/albums\/ss54\/Puppetmaker40\/Puppet%20Album\/IMG_3045_zpsa185b85b.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\" photo IMG_3045_zpsa185b85b.jpg\"\/><\/a><br \/>\nPuppet from the back<br \/>\n(For the VI; This is the puppet from behind.
