We are hoping to miss the whole thing because we are at the Moody Gardens in Galveston TX.<\/p>\n
We got to the airport in plenty of time. In fact we were early since we were slated to leave at 1:00 and got out at 2:15. To add to that we had head winds all the way adding to the amount of time on the plane. This lead to a long flight. Again Caroline measures all plane rides again Australia so this was long but not that long. She is such a good traveler.<\/p>\n
We are now ensconced in a lovely suite that the convention is putting us up on. And it is lovely indeed. Caroline has her own room and loved it. We have a nice room as well. Then there is the sitting room, which is larger than the ground floor of our house. We are very comfortable. <\/p>\n
Tomorrow Space City Con starts and we are looking forward to seeing everyone. Already saw John Hudgens, Arnie Starr, and Mira Furlan. That was just as we were checking in. We have lots of old friends showing up for this one and I know there are new people to meet as well. <\/p>\n
