The travel to the airport got a little exciting due to some accidents including one on the Meadowbrook so we ended up taking Sunrise Highway into the Belt and getting to JFK that way. Once at the airport, except for always being at the end of one end of the airport and having to get to the other, it was pretty smooth sailing. The flight was normal as normal could be. <\/p>\n
We arrived and were taken to our hotel. Because Sunday is our Anniversary, the convention booked us in a very nice suite. Caroline has her own area and bathroom which she is quite happy about. She declared it \u201cbest convention hotel room ever\u201d.<\/p>\n
While getting our badges, we ran into the Pinis and caught up on various pieces of news. We went to our table (2416) and set up.<\/p>\n
The rest of the afternoon and evening was spent catching up with old friends and talking to the fans. It was a very nice day.<\/p>\n
Today I have some repair work to do on a couple of Docs before the puppet-slam this evening (RM 122 starting around 9pm). We are performing Lord of Time.<\/p>\n
So far enjoying Phoenix and the convention. Hope to see some of you there.<\/p>\n
