What is it with people not moving a shopping cart about three car lengths to get it out of the way? I am getting sick of not being able to park without getting out of the car and moving a shopping cart or two or three. I take the time when I am done with a cart to move it out of the way of the parking lot either to the cart corral or back to the sidewalk.<\/p>\n
I know it is a time honored tradition to jaywalk in NYC. But in a small town when the crosswalk is less than 20 feet behind you and the cars MUST stop, darting between cars assuming that everyone will slam on the brakes for your Michael Kors handbag is not the best idea especially when you are playing chicken with a Hummer that is slamming music so hard my truck is vibrating.<\/p>\n
And I am not talking youngsters here but people my age and older. OK people my age that seem to have a sense of entitlement that boarders on the selfish. Or maybe I am just tired.<\/p>\n
And yes I am tired. Nothing for it really. There is a lot to do around the house and there is a lot to do for my family. Right now it is either me or it doesn\u2019t get done. Peter is healing and that is his job right now along with avoiding getting another stroke. Caroline is helping as much as she can but she has a lot on her plate too.<\/p>\n
Caroline had to do a paper for her religion class. The topic was faith. She wrote about her faith in G-d and her father and how it was shaken with her father\u2019s stroke but she continued to pray for her father and her faith that G-d would help her dad get better comforted her. She had some pretty complex concepts within her paper and an easy writing style that makes one want to read on. She has her daddy\u2019s storytelling ability. I typed it up for her and managed not to cry too much.<\/p>\n
Yesterday was a bust due to a GI bug that was not very nice to my lower GI area and my neck hurts from upchucking as well. Good thing I have my last PT session this morning.<\/p>\n
I am grateful for what I CAN get done today but I am not beating myself up when I can\u2019t get everything done.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
