She has been coughing with a fever and some gag reflex vomiting. Last night she was miserable and woke up in pain several times with her fever spiking to almost 104. Peter took point on this and got up with her several times, then at 5:00 it became a two person job trying to get the fever down and her comfortable so she could rest.  We took her to her doctor as soon as we could on Saturday and she has her first ear infection. We were given a course of treatment and she is now at home dropping everything in her pen outside her playpen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Caroline has not been her usual cheerful self for a couple of days.
