We have concluded Field Day at Caroline\u2019s school. It went off without any major hitches and only one minor one. The kids had a great time. The parent volunteers went above and beyond considering the number of them were scrambling to fulfill their commitment because it raining on Friday and people had asked off from work. Everyone was given a job and they did that job with great enthusiasm. I have heard the phrase used that \u201cParents make the school too\u201d but today I saw it in action. <\/p>\n
I got a little more sun that I was expecting so I am glowing red over certain parts of my body but especially the left side of my neck but it was worth it. Caroline is happy that her team came in first. She holds her ribbon proudly.<\/p>\n
Ariel did the puppet show. That went over well with the kids as well. I am very proud of her.<\/p>\n
The next couple of days are going to be rather busy. Friday is the end of the school year and then we are into summer and I am putting peddle to the metal to get everything done for Shoreleave.<\/p>\n
