I might even convince someone to give me a panel or two to do this year. I like Farpoint for many reasons. The people who run it are very nice. It is not a crowded convention. In some ways it reminds me of ChattaCon as a relaxacon. Unlike ChattaCon, it does not have the beer garden. Some day I would like to get back to ChattaCon but it is not this year. Farpoint has a media mix with fandom activities for all. I think you can find someone who shares your media interests there. It is also one of those conventions that people go to year after year to hang out with friends that they met at the convention.
