I finished up the book Drive. It was an interesting read although the end seemed very promotional for various groups and motivational speakers. There was a section that got me to thinking. They talked about a study that followed artists out of art school and into the real world, which is, apparently, rarely done. They had them rate their satisfaction with the work they were doing and asked them to rate the creativity of the work they were doing over a period of time. Funny thing, the artists that were doing commissioned work were less satisfied than those who had more freedom to create what they wanted to create. The stricter the conditions under which they were creating, the more miserable they were both with the process and with the final product.<\/p>\n
Speaking of art, Caroline has been very busy drawing various big cat families. She has been concentrating very hard on these drawings. When she gets the last one in the series done, I plan to take a picture and post it. She loves to draw and I encourage that a lot.<\/p>\n
We saw the latest and last installment of the Shrek series yesterday. It has laugh out loud moments and very teary moments. Caroline was scared once or twice that everything wasn\u2019t going to work out but I reminded her it was a fairy tale so it would. There are some complex concepts that she did follow along with for the most part but time travel makes my head hurt at times so why should I expect that it should be easy for her.<\/p>\n
Some people should really stop and think before answering a post that annoys them. I think the count to 10 rules should be enforced when replying to someone. I have watched some stuff escalate to the ridiculous recently. Also if you have a problem with someone in real life, maybe you shouldn\u2019t attack them on the net. You end up looking like a big meanie when, given the history, it was a rather reasonable response. It is not going to work to your favor.<\/p>\n

Tonight we are watching Disney Presents: Tim Burtons\u2019 Alice in Wonderland as a family.<\/p>\n
