For the first time in what seems forever and the first time, we think, ever. I am off on an adventure while Peter takes care of Caroline. Ariel\u2019s college chorus is going to be singing at Disney World and I am going to watch them. I am also going to be spending time with some friends of mine whose friendship is old enough to drink and then some. It was just one of those perfect storms of reasons to go<\/p>\n
My ability to post may be hampered so don\u2019t take it as a bad sign if I don\u2019t post. <\/p>\n
I am looking forward to going to Disney World. I\u2019ll get to see a bunch of my buddies down there who I don\u2019t see that often. But it will be the first time since I started dating Peter that I will be there without him or the girls (well technically Ariel will be there but then she will be off with her little buddies most of the time). Also this time around there is no Adventure\u2019s Club to retreat to for the evening which I still find a crying shame. <\/p>\n
We broke the news to Caroline in bits and pieces. She is fine with it since then she gets Daddy all to herself. We told her that Mommy was going to go watch Ariel sing and visit some friends. We haven\u2019t told her where this is going to happen but I think she has a good idea. She says she is going to miss me but it will be OK since she has her Daddy to take care of her. We might have gone as a family but the adventure in the lands down under killed any leeway we have in her school days. I think she had the bigger adventure honestly.<\/p>\n
So I am flying out today and will be back Saturday.<\/p>\n
