Ariel wasn’t feeling well yesterday. She stayed home and we pushed fluids and made her rest. We knew that today was dependant on how she felt today. Unfortunately she was worse this morning so Peter has taken her to the doctor since we have had so many nasty germs rolling around. Caroline got a clean bill of health from her doctor last week when she got her flu shot.<\/p>\n
I am going to be doing the Netti Pot again because I am feeling some sinus pain this morning and see if that nips whatever this is in the bud. We need to be healthy in a week and a bit for our holiday travel. Our old cat sitter is going to be in town and looking forward to taking care of the cats and watching through our DVD collection.<\/p>\n
This week I have a couple of activities that I am helping Caroline’s teacher with. I would like to keep the house clean until we get back from Atlanta. It can be done but it is going to be some effort on everyone’s part including Miss Caroline.<\/p>\n
My brain has been feeling a little dull recently. I don’t know if it has been because of illness or other factors. Whatever it is, I am trying some stuff to get my brain back in gear. I figured out that I have read 5 books this year. And for those who known me and my habits, know that this is probably the lowest number since I learned to read. I am not counting the books I read to Caroline which are quite a few. The sad thing is that usually when I am not reading, I am writing but I haven’t even been doing that recently. I am thinking of charting my Internet usage to see how much I am reading on line. I think that is my time sink.<\/p>\n
Creative hasn’t been coming easily for me either. I have ideas for things I want to do but trying to get my rear is gear has been hard. I have taken on some doll challenges just to force me to make something. I also am going to sign up for the Farpoint Art Show to give me some reason to make dolls or improve on Dolls that I have made. Right now deadlines seem to be the only thing that keeps me doing any of these things which is not how I like things.<\/p>\n
I think Paper Dolls are in order this weekend and I need to get my gift boxes ready to send out to my two secret Santa’s partners. That might get me going.<\/p>\n
