I have put out my American Flag and our house now matches just about everyone on the street. We have a lot of former military and some current military on our street. If it starts to rain, I will bring my flag back in. I learned in Girl Scouts how to handle a flag and the various rules that to be followed.<\/p>\n
We might be taking Caroline to one of the local parades today depending on the weather.<\/p>\n
Later today we are helping some friends out by babysitting their little one so it will be a quiet afternoon and evening for us except the sound of neighbors shooting off fireworks all around us and the large display that is happening a couple of towns over. So I have to finish baby proofing the living room today.<\/p>\n
I have cold chicken ready to go for dinner. I am going to make either macaroni salad or potato salad to go with the chicken and I have corn on the cob.<\/p>\n
