Considering the fact that Peter, Ariel, and Caroline all had wicked bad colds in the last month and a half and I had magically avoided them, it did not surprise me to wake up with that stuffy head, teeth aching, throat hurting feeling. I managed to hold it off until after Caroline’s party but no more. Which I will take as a good thing because I can probably be over this by next weekend. But right now it feels like someone took a baseball bat to my face.<\/p>\n
Caroline traced her name yesterday all the way through. I wrote it in block letters and she put another piece of paper on top of what I wrote and carefully traced it. She has been working with some books that my parents got her for her birthday. I am keeping that piece of paper to go with the lock of her baby hair that she cut when she was younger.<\/p>\n
Hard to believe that we are about half way through the month already. Time is just flying. Now I just have to figure out which light went out in the light strand so my all holiday lights will light again. That and walk the property since we have a Nor’eastern heading our direction. It should be all rain according to the weather predictions. I managed to get our sidewalk and property ice-free yesterday with the help of a little rock salt so I wasn’t worried about the hard freeze last night. I just need to secure the garbage cans and some water bottles.<\/p>\n
Off to take some sort of decongestant.<\/p>\n
