Sometimes the preparing for the vacation can be stressful. Right now I am trying to unpack Shoreleave and then pack for our visit down to Florida. Shoreleave was an awful lot of stuff between Peter’s books and the costumes\/make-up the car was pretty full. Now I have to get us ready for a plane.<\/p>\n
This morning I got the trash out of Ariel’s room. She had “cleaned” (and I use the term loosely) it and put the garbage in bags behind her door. Since today is garbage day, I got rid of all the trash that was accumulating in the house and put it out to curbside. So I can tell myself that something got done.<\/p>\n
We have an early flight out tomorrow. We have our ride arranged and our cat sitter just stayed with us since it was going to be less than a week. Boy, do the cats like her. They also like the Beast Head. I found one of them sleeping in it the other day so I had to put that away. I am trying to figure out what to do with it at this point.<\/p>\n
Knowing me, I’ll probably be blogging while away but if there is a pause it is because I am having lots of fun or don’t have a good internet connection.<\/p>\n
Caroline has been told that we are going to Disney and she think we are driving there. I told her that we were taking a plane and she is excited. It is not that she hasn’t been on plane before, but her understanding of the world around her and her ability to communicate to the world has improved so much in a year. She is the right age for Disney Magic and I am glad that I get to share it with her.<\/p>\n
We got a DVD of our entry in the Shoreleave Masquerade. I am now trying to figure out how to put it on YouTube. (Side note to Susan O: Once we get back from vacation, I’ll make you a copy of the DVD we got from Lou and the one that Glenn did so you have copies too).<\/p>\n
I am grateful that we go that DVD yesterday. I will be more grateful if the replacement power supply for the video camera shows up today.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
