I have one thing left I can do for one of the other costumes. I have one set of things to sew on my costume. Caroline’s costume came together last night and she loves it. This is the closest I think I have even been to having everything done before the convention.

Today involves packing and getting those things we need for the weekend. I want to have the van packed up by the time we go to bet tonight so we can get an early start after breakfast. I do need to find a few things (back to that make a list thingy I need to do).

Packing is an art form that I learned from my mother. She is really good at putting the maximum amount of stuff in a minimum amount of space. I call it her TARDIS ability and I did inherit it from her. I can’t tell you how many bellmen I have impressed over the years will my ability to pack a car. She is also an excellent list maker. Her beach list is a thing of beauty. I think I inherited her organizational skills as well. All these things I have learned are going to be put to the test today as I get ready for Shoreleave.

Once this is all done, my plan is to give the house a good cleaning and pack for our vacation which starts a week from Saturday.

Next on my list is that perennial favor Landry to be couple with packing as the laundry is finished.

I am sure that this blog will be more interesting once I can show you some pictures of the costumes and tell you what we are doing/did. If I can get online this weekend, I will post which can be a toss up at this hotel.

I am grateful for finished costumes

OK Ariel’s costume is done.
