Caroline’s hair sort of got away from me while she was sick. So yesterday she took and bath and afterwards we sat down to take care of the rats nest that her hair had become. She was such a good girl. I ended up working my way through her hair with my fingers to keep the pulling down to a minimum. We watched the Mets\/Phillies game as I slowly tamed the mane. About 45 minutes later (no that is not a typo) we had restored her hair to its untangled state. She asked me to put it back in a braid, which keeps the tangling down, so I did. I was so proud that she let me get this done. I talked her again about a haircut, but she was adamant that she DID NOT want a haircut.<\/p>\n
She is doing much better today. I can see her returning more and more to her regular self. I am feeling more myself too. It is nice to breath and not be scared that I am going to cough up a lung. Biggest thing I can do for her now is stay on top of her antibiotic because it is working.<\/p>\n
I did finally get that big food shop in that I have been needed to do for a while now but haven’t done because we kept going out of town. It is amazing how many staple foods and items you can go through in a month. So the larder is stocked and we have lots of lovely fresh fruit in the house.<\/p>\n
Got one dolly thing I have to do to keep on schedule but I think I can get it done today. Then I think I am going to sit down and work on one of two stories I need to get done. Either that or pattern out the next doll I want to finish. I want to stay creative.<\/p>\n
I have some cleaning on the list as well. I think the spring bug has bitten me. I have this urge to clean up my living space. Which is not a bad thing since tomorrow is paper recycling day and we have a lot of paper to recycle. I think I am going to help Ariel bundle up those magazines that she has been wanting to get out of her room for a while now and get those to the curb after the trash is picked up today. I want it to warm up enough so I can work on my studio again. I would like to get that back in shape before this summer.<\/p>\n
Slowly things seem to be returning to normal or the closest equivalent that passes for normal around here.<\/p>\n
