This morning when I woke up, I seriously wish I hadn’t. I had a bad nights sleep with all these lovely flu-like symptoms that kept waking me up. I was too hot then too cold. My joints ached. I couldn’t get comfortable. But when I woke up, I felt like my head was going to explode and I thought it might not be too bad an idea since the pain and the pressure was making my entire face feel nothing but pain. I can’t remember a time that I had felt worse and not given birth. I came downstairs at Caroline’s insistence. Peter took one look at me and said, “Get some medicine and some water and go back to bed.”<\/p>\n
I told him how to get to the Wow Wow Wubbzy site so Caroline could play some games she loves there (which is why she wanted me to get up) and went into the kitchen to see what we had to relieve the massive pain in my head and body. After finding the last of several drugs, I stumbled back up to bed and flopped down. I woke up a couple of times and answer a couple of questions as needed. Peter took Caroline with him to the gym and then out to lunch. About 1:40 I returned to consciousness and for the first time felt like I could move without my head exploding. I feel a lot better than I did this morning and even yesterday. I still have a nasty cough, but I don’t feel like I am going to lose my head when I do cough. I have a feeling this is going to take a day or so to get over.<\/p>\n
