Got the costumes done a little closer to curtain than I normally like to do but they were done in time.<\/p>\n
We won 1st place in Champions Cup. I got an award for doing the costumes on the cheap.<\/p>\n
This one was quick and dirt simple to do performance-wise.<\/p>\n
Dave the MC: “Entry number 16 Snapes! Why did it have to be Snapes?”<\/p>\n
Robbie, Marina, Alyssa, and I walk out with 4 chairs and set them two and two. We sit down and the lights come up. Audience registers that there are 4 Snapes sitting down. I raise my wand and in unison we say, “Stewardess?”<\/p>\n
Out walks Ariel in an airline Stewardess outfit. We start yelling at her about various things. I had that the in-flight movie was inappropriate for showing on an airplane. Someone else got the where’s my peanuts? Robbie complained about the fact that he was suppose to have an aisle seat. And someone else went on about their lack of a pillow.<\/p>\n
Finally Ariel throws down her serving tray and yells,” That’s enough! I have had it with these Mother Fraking Snapes on the Mother Fraking Plane!” and storms off.<\/p>\n
The closing line was suppose to be “Coming to a video store near you, Snapes on a Plane.” But that didn’t quite work out due to random factors.<\/p>\n
Over all the costume was well received and everyone did their best.<\/p>\n
