I went to my regular Doctor yesterday rather than just one of the four that are in the practice. He went over what was wrong with me and went back through what they have done before to try to combat it. So this morning I went and got a bunch of blood drawn for various tests to check this, that, and the other thing.<\/p>\n
What he could see is that my left sinus was mightily inflamed and my left ear canal wasn’t looking much better. So back onto the antibiotics I go which we have to be real careful about since I am now allergic to penicillin. It is a new form of antibiotic with a lot of rules about when it can be taken. I have sorted out that I should take it after dinner for maximum effect. Let’s see if this finally works.<\/p>\n
I have come to the conclusion that I am tired of being tired and now I feel it is interfering with my ability to do things I need to get done. I do know it can’t be mono since I have already had that. So we’ll see what they come up with or if I get the big “That’s Strange” shoulder shrug as they don’t find anything.<\/p>\n
In other news of the good sort (sort of) I found out that the pain in my hip is not arthritis, as I had feared, but sciatica which I first had when I was pregnant with Caroline. So it is a matter of doing a number of things to relieve the pain\/pressure to the nerve. Apparently one thing I have to do is not sit as much as I have been sitting. Or at least change the position in which I sit to take the pressure off the nerve. At least it is something I can actively do something about.<\/p>\n
So there is my health update so far.<\/p>\n
I did get something done yesterday so I am going to try to get the next thing done today and then a little more tomorrow. I figure this will be a matter of what I do before the battery runs down to empty each day.<\/p>\n
