Then there are times when I dread the sound of the phone because I know that bad news is on the way. Then there are the surprise phone calls that can change the day in a snap.<\/p>\n<p>Right now we are waiting for a phone call to find out how our friend is doing. It is now down to the waiting and the knowing that the call is going to come but we don&#8217;t know when.<\/p>\n<p>E-mail can do the same thing. Something you don&#8217;t expect shows up in your e-mail box that can either make or break your day. On some occasions I have gotten both and the day seems to level out especially when I read the good after the bad. Right now I am sorting out whether I want to deal with my e-mail drama or not. At this point I am choosing not.<\/p>\n<p>I need to go lock up the Drama Llama for a while I think. Reality is biting me on the &#225;&#353;&#353; as I wait to find out what is going to happen or rather when. I am sad and angry all at the same time. I want to scream to the skies, &#8220;It&#8217;s not fair!&#8221; But instead I sit quietly waiting for the phone to ring.<\/p>\n<p>I am grateful that we did come down Friday rather than Saturday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are times when I wait for the phone to ring and it has been happy news.
