Day 46 of the Homebound Saga
The last day of April which means we have been sheltering in place for about six weeks now.
According to Governor Cuomo, parts of New York will start up again on May 15th however there will be parts of New York that continues the shelter at home. I am figuring that Long Island is going to be one of those with the extended quarantine.
I am figuring that by June we will start limited reopening. I am hoping that Caroline will be able to go back to school, but I have a feeling she will have to be tested before they will let her back in.
Testing seems to be the hold-up in all this. We need to know who is infected and who has recovered and who has not encountered the virus yet.
I am going to have to give my back another day to recover. This morning was hard getting up physically. So heating pad and anti-inflammatory is the words for the day.
I feel bad I cannot do all I want to do but I know if I don’t sort this out now, it will only get worse and hang around longer.
I take comfort in that I know that the next day will give me as much time to do as today would.
I am grateful for information that lets me make informed decisions.
