RTBTCKI March in like a lion 2020 edition

Posted By on March 1, 2020

It is windy this morning. I have watched things being blown down the street. I have to go check my garbage can lids to make sure I don’t have to go searching for them.

It is also really sunny today. There are no clouds in the sky which is the first day in a while this has happened. Today is going to be one of the cooler days of this week. My crocuses are sprouting and the trees look a bit confused. We have not had enough days of consecutive cold to kill some beetles who are very harmful to our trees. We are not out of winter right now but nor are we in it.

Caroline is traveling home today. We are looking forward to seeing her. Her cat is going to be so happy that she is back.

Peter and I saw Onward yesterday. What a lovely film. Not what I was expecting from the trailers but a solid film about family and what family do for each other. This one had a lot of emotional tension in it as the stakes are rather high. Take tissues because it is a tear jerker. And good luck figured out where John Ratzenberger is in it. I only knew because of the credits and once I had that I could hear his voice in that role.

Today is an at home day for various projects we are both working on. Tomorrow we will deal with the world except the spring training baseball game that we will be watching at 1 pm.

Tonight is also the final episode of this season of Doctor Who. I think I will do a New Who Review for the whole season as it was so much of one story through the episodes. Overall I have been impressed with what they have surprised me with and how they have woven in so many elements from classic Who.

Every morning since the beginning of the year I have been writing in a notebook before starting my web log. Some days it is more and some days less but it is my starting point for each day. Before I do anything else I write there. It is also there I have been practicing my cursive trying to shake lose my brain for the rest of the day. I have managed to keep it going for two months. My goal is now to get to three months. It has been helpful for me to be able to see patterns of behavior and gives me data so I can improve on me.

I have been trying to keep up here as well. Not going to be perfect but I am not too unhappy about my current days in a row. I have a feeling some entries are going to be shorter as I am working on a short story and my mystery project.

I am grateful for consistency in my life.
