Rainy Sunday Morning with Cats

Which sounds like a painting you would find in the Louvre.

As I type this I am surrounded by warm cats. The feeling of a purring cat on one’s feet is one I can highly recommend for what ails you.

I am only half a cup of coffee in to the day so thoughts are still swirling around my head.

Caroline had a blast at her Model UN meeting. I have a feeling she is going to be sleeping in this morning. She has the next two days off. Monday is Martin Luther King day and she doesn’t have midterms until Wednesday. Gives the world some time to dry out and warm up.

Today is an indoor day. I have a couple of things on my list I want to get done.

The big one is to finish my edit on my story. The second is to finish my picture searching for my puppetry selling site.

I need a new digital camera. My previous one has up and died after almost 20 years of service. Battery replacement is not working. Something just went within and fixing it would cost more than the camera. I am sad because that camera and I had a lot of adventures and it took a lot of great photos.  Anyone have any suggestions?

Currently with the wind, it looks like it is raining sideways. The biggest problem is when the temperature plummets into the teens which will freeze any standing water. And with this I expect the number of potholes to magically appear.

We saw Split yesterday, which is the second part of a trilogy. Peter and I talked about it and came to the conclusion that only James McAvoy could have pulled that character off. His performance was amazing and made up for the confusing story all around him. We also re-watched Avengers: Infinity War. The end still hurts a lot.

I think we are doing another movie day today. Maybe we will stick with happy sunny films to counteract the gloom outside.

I am grateful for heat that works.
