RTBCKI The Passover Easter Edition 2015
Posted By Kathleen David on April 4, 2015
As in we had the first Passover sedar last night and Easter is tomorrow.
And I have my computer back. No more trying to type on a secondary keyboard while turning my neck to look at the screen. And a strange bonus, they ‘broke’ my display while replacing the keyboard and top. So I have a shiny new screen as well as a working keyboard for a reasonable price.
A lot going on and not much I can or care to talk about. Some of it good and some of it bad and some of it really bad. More details as I can or must say.
Tumblr is a strange place where, even if you can give the group chapter and verse about something, apparently you are still wrong. That is honestly the only thing I don’t get about it.
Twitter and I don’t really talk.
Facebook is my social go to right now even though I still write a web log on occasion.
Inky is very much settled in now. We do occasionally have some kitty politics but everyone pretty much knows who’s space is who’s and when. The current bone of contention is under my left leg.
After 15 years living with Peter, I have the Passover prep down to a science. Now for the kitchen clean up which is next on my list.
I have been writing down what I get done each day and I must say that it is interesting to look at the patterns. I am going to keep it up all this month and then go look at the bigger picture. Then I have to work on the discipline I need to get more done that needs to be done.
I do feel good that I taught two other women how to use some of the equipment at the gym correctly by example. They asked why I did it much slower and I explained about range of motion and feeling the muscle contract and expand then showed them what I meant. I also showed them how to adjust the various parts for their height and arm length. Two days later one of them saw me and thanked me because they felt like they were getting more out of the workouts and they upped the weight because it was too easy.
Right now Inky is asleep at Caroline’s feet. Caroline is rubbing her feet lightly on Inky’s fur who is purring up a storm. It is really cute and shows how far this cat has come from the feral animal to the domesticated house pet.
I am grateful for the quiet family moments.
