RTBTCKI Peter is Back from SDCC 2011 Edition

36 days until DragonCon. I got the muslin for the jacket worked out and tore it back apart so today I can start making the real jacket. Figured out a bunch of stuff but hope I have enough material for a few mistakes. My goal is to have the jacket cut and mostly sewn today. Tomorrow finish the jacket and start on the pants. Then onto the secret part of the project. For the record, I hate buttonholes and zippers.

Peter got back rather early yesterday morning. He took the day off to try to get back some of the sleep that he lost and spend sometime with his family which was nice.

Does anyone know what is up with Photobucket? I was trying to put some pictures in to it and it was not letting me do anything.

Yes, I did see the pictures of Peter and Val Kilmer from the Activision panel. I got the explanation after I saw the pictures. Apparently Peter made some comment about three gorgeous blonds being on the panel and Val thought that was funny.

We had one heck of a thunderstorm about 10pm. This morning, other than water in the recycling can, there is not much evidence of it except the lawn looks a little greener.

Fig is chasing invisible things again. She is in full crazy kitten mode. Hard to believe that she will be a year old this August.

Peter’s new book Camelot Papers is available as an e-book on most platforms and a POD on Amazon. It’s a fun read.

I think today is laundry day. Just a hunch.

I am grateful for whatever I can get done today. I just need to get over my initial fear of screwing up the fabric I bought.
