Now She is Seven

Seven years ago Caroline David entered the world with some serious protest on her part but she quickly adjusted to her situation and had enjoyed herself since.
We had her birthday party today which went pretty well. She had a contingent of friends and family to celebrate with her. We did crafts, played games, and Peter read to the girls. The adults had conversations with each other and commented on exactly how loud little girls can get and how high they can pitch their voices. Ariel and Gwen joined us much to Caroline’s delight. (Side note to Mary Aileen, Caroline had been playing with her Monster Puppet for almost an hour now. She loves it! I don’t think I am going to get a chance to play too for a while. I might just have to build my own version of this toy.)
Now we are sitting down and watching Fantasia 2000 and relaxing after a very busy week.
I find it hard to believe that she is seven even with all the evidence that tells me she is. It is been a wonderful journey with her and I look forward to what the next year brings.
I am grateful that the day went as well as it did.
