Wild Wacky Weekend

Posted By on September 21, 2009

With lots of ups and downs for various members of the family at various times. I think we are all trying to process what happened in a rather short time. Some metaphoric doors slammed shut in our faces but other unexpected metaphoric doors opened with more possibility for the future. I have no idea how the events of this weekend are going to shake out but it will be interesting.

Today we get back to pretty much our regular schedule. I have things to do that I need to get done before Caroline gets back from school. I also need to sort out the next week or so since we are off to Australia and New Zealand for Armageddon Expo in mid-October. Yeah, it was kind of sudden but it dropped in our laps and we all have current passports. Our cat sitter is very happy to take care of the house and the cats for that time. Caroline’s teacher is coming up with a lesson plan for her while she is away so she doesn’t fall behind.

I am grateful for the good things and good adventures that happened this weekend.

Hopefully you’ll love New Zealand. I’m the guy taking care of Peter during the con so if there’s anything you guys want to see or do, my wife Chelsea and I are happy to assist. We’ve had a lot of last-minute changes but we’re so happy to have you guys over!
